Devon Clarke is currently the Chief Marketing Officer of The Block Enterprises, a digital marketing company based in NJ and NY. After graduating JP Stevens High School in Edison, NJ, he continued his academic journey by attending Duke University in Durham, NC. While a student there, he majored in Political Science and pursued his childhood aspiration to become an entertainment attorney, specializing in Sports Law. After his first year at college, he secured a summer job in sales working for Vector Marketing Corporation. This was a change from his previous experience and turned out to be the first step towards his new career path. After finishing the summer as the #1 sales rep in Middlesex County, he continued to advance within the company. After graduating from Duke in 2008, Devon had the privilege of training to run his own office while being the Sales Manager for the entire NJ Division. In 2009, Devon opened his own marketing office in Union County. That first year, he finished as the #4 office in the entire nation among new offices (over 250). He continued to train and manage sales reps until he decided to take his talents and start his own company. Along with a few former sales representatives and some of their colleagues, Devon helped found The Block Enterprises in April 2011. The goal of this company is to help small businesses create and build sustainable marketing strategies using the Internet and technology. His former positions would lay a foundation of people skills and customer relations that now allow him to effectively communicate with his clients and service their needs. His strong sales and business background help him to relate well with customers, remain persistent and achieve great success for his clients. For the last 5 years, The Block has been providing high quality web design, mobile app design, and SEO strategies to grow and build small businesses.
