Good evening and welcome!
My name is Rose Moore, and I am from the Middlesex county class in New Brunswick. I would like to take just a few minutes and share my amazing story with you.
Last year I was a struggling widow living from paycheck to paycheck – working in a hospital for less than a modest salary. But, I had a deep desire to start my own business. You see I worked in the medical environment for 15 years working with, children in Peds, Newborns and the NICU- where premature babies and babies with birth issues come to get well enough to go home. These babies have compromised immune systems and infection is a constant threat to them.
I realized through observation that hand-held electronic devices like cell phones and pads were crawling with bacteria and other germs. The ORs, RNs, staff, and visitors all had cell phones. Seeing a need to combat this problem – I was encouraged by watching several years of Shark Tank.
I came up with the idea of Antibacterial phone covers- a plastic zip lock slipcover laced with a sanitizing agent, to serve all medical /clinical environments.
So I filed for a PP to protect my idea and prepared to leave my job and make the necessary adjustments.
My mechanic told me about Rising Tide and brought me to class. I was met and interviewed by Jessenia who gave me an overview of the all the tools the Academy had to help Entrepreneurs start and sustain a successful business. Thus my journey began!

Because of the skills, I got from Rising Tide. I am ready to launch my business Feb. 1st, and I am projecting a million in sales this year.
So if you have a desire of a business/ a product– GO for it. Believe in yourself!
